March 8, 2025 – This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of women worldwide. At the same time, we recognize the ongoing struggles many women and children face, which is why our Women & Children Shelter Initiative is so important.

In August 2020, Dominique was living in fear, fleeing a violent stalker with nowhere to turn. She called dozens of shelters daily, but as a single woman, space was scarce-until she received a life changing call from Good Neighbors.

With counseling, legal support, and job training, Dominique began to rebuild her life. Good Neighbors helped her secure stable housing and financial assistance, giving her the foundation to move forward with hope.

Today, Dominique is safe, her future bright. Your support makes stories like her possible.

Through this program, we are committed to providing safety, support, and resources for those in need, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Our shelter provides:
